Sonja Hurani, born in Pforzheim in 1984, is a Tunisian-Palestinian actress. She grew up with both cultures, deals a lot with the topic of identity, whether she is German-Arabic or Arabic-German she cannot say herself, she loves Maultaschen, but for her a shisha lemon mint is part of a well-rounded evening.
Sonja Hurani has been a solo singer on stage since the age of 12. At the same time, she appeared in various musical and theater productions from the age of 12 until she was 19.
In 2013, she appeared in the TV film Stille NÄCHTE in the role of Filiz, followed by further roles in the TV film DAS ROMEO PRINZIP and in the ZDF TV series SIBEL und MAX.
Most recently, the nature lover has been in front of the camera for numerous productions, in the mini-series NEULAND, MORDEN IM NORDEN, DIE TOTENFRAU I Staffel 2 directed by Daniel Prochaska and NACHTSCHICHT directed by Lars Becker.. As Fariba Ahmadi-Moreau, she can soon be seen regularly in the ARD children’s series DIE PFEFFERKÖRNER.
