Isabel Thierauch was born in Berlin in 1985. She studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich from 2009 to 2013. During her studies, she already appeared in several productions at the Munich Kammerspiele. In the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons, she was a guest performer in two productions at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin. In 2020/21, she made a guest appearance at Schauspiel Köln in the play Wut by Elfriede Jelinek.

Isabel has been appearing in film, television and cinema for over ten years now. The list of films she has made since then is impressively long, here is a small excerpt:

In the ZDF/ZDFneo series ZARAH – WILDE JAHRE, she played the RAF terrorist Jutta Beelitz. She had her first leading role in a movie in ZWISCHEN SOMMER & HERBST. Even before the premiere of this film, Thierauch played a leading role in Thomas Stiller’s DIE HAUT DER ANDEREN. In the same year, she played a central role in the drama THERAPIE. Isabel took on the role of Sonja Hopf in the film biography ALICE by Alice Wegmann and played the role of Lena in the drama series by Tom Lass DAS PHANTOM in LIEBE. JETZT! the role of Lena.
