PORTFOLIO
Adrian Weinek was born in Salzburg in 1998 and grew up in Vienna.
Adrian studied psychology at the University of Vienna, founded several start-ups and clothing brands, worked in sales for four years, played American football for the Austrian national team and served as a medic in the Austrian Armed Forces.
In 2021, he began his acting studies at the Thomas Bernhard Institute of the Mozarteum in Salzburg, which he will complete in 2025.
In 2024, Adrian and his Mozarteum class won the main prize for the best ensemble (Ensemble Prize Switzerland) and the Audience Award for the production Das schweigende Mädchen by Elfriede Jelinek at the National Acting Competition in Frankfurt.
During his studies, he performed at the Münchner Kammerspiele, the Salzburger Landestheater, the Bühnen Bern and the Tiroler Festspiele, among others.
In addition to his acting training, Adrian currently works as a stadium announcer and sports presenter for Austrian Radio.
He will shoot his first feature film in Austria in spring 2025.
