Johannes Berzl was born in 2000 in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria.
He gained his first filming experience for television in 2021 in the Thursday crime thriller DIE BESTATTERIN.
He then went on to film the Rita Falk crime thriller GUGLHUPFGESCHWADER for Constantin under the direction of Ed Herzog, in which he played the lead role of Lotto-Otto.
In the summer of 2023, Berzl filmed another leading role for DEM HIMMEL GANZ NAH, the fourth feature film in the TV series HUBERT OHNE STALLER.
In 2024, he was in front of the camera for the feature films VERY BEST AGER directed by Marc Rothemund and SEHNSUCHT IN SANGERHAUSEN (director: Julian Radlmaier), among others.
He also shots a Saturday night ZDF crime thriller in 2024 under Anno Saul.
He lives in Munich and has a second home in Berlin.
